Is it just me? Why are peanut butter cookies so addictive?

1 Yes! I'm afraid that I, too, become the cookie monster in the presence of PB cookies! Bulging cheeks, head swaying back and forth like Stevie Wonder, wild, glazed over eyes, pupils dilating as I reach wildly through the air for more and then more!

Crumbs flying around me like the dust around Schroder in Peanuts.....I shudder! Then, I found out it's because peanuts contain heroine....just kidding...What can be done about this? .

Truff replied to post #1: 2 I KNEW there was a chemical element involved. Kidnap some bakers for slavery into our our all day/all nite PB cooky factory? .

3 The only cure is to pass the cookies over to ...me! .

Peanut butter isn't bad for you unless you have an allergy to peanuts, or eat too much of it at a time, which is true of about anything. If you are worried about salt content, use organic peanut butter, which has less salt and a few less chemicals, or make your own in a food processor.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
