Is it normal for a woman's hair to fallout after kinky twist are taken out?

Maybe it's just her hair shedding. Having twists in the hair will not allow the naturally shedded hair to shed out. So when it's time to take the twist down, there will be three months worth of shed hair that needs to come out.
