Is It Normal To Drop From 4,000,000 to 900,00 on Alexa Ranking in 30 Days? USA ranking of 100,000?

I have 5 sites and all went from 5-7mil to 700,00 in about 6 weeks, when I was promoting them daily, when I was out of town for a week they went back up 100,000 so promotion has a lot to do with it. I also spend zero $$, I use a number of blogs and article sites to improve my ratings as well as other ranking sites. 3yrs ago I bought my way to a first page ranking and my sales greatly improved for 2-3months, after that the cost was more than I was making, this way I only make $200-$300 a month but there's no cost so keep doing what you're doing.

Alexa may only provide data to the top 100,00 sites but you can use it to gain page rank and it's free to track and Google uses it.

You can manipulate Alexa rankings very easily. Certain people have used Alexa rankings as criteria for selling a website i.e. The better the rankings the higher the price they can get.

Alexa can be manipulated by having multiple IP addresses go to Alexa to get the cookie and then to go to your site. If you have 20 friends in different places in the world and you ask them to do this for you then you will see an immediate increase in popularity in Alexa.

It is good idea not to rely totally on Alexa. I hope they can fix this problem one day but I don't think it will be easy.

Honestly, I wouldn't recommending Alexa data. They don't have enough information to provide any accurate ranking.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
