Probably not.. if we`re talking about a mountain as high as 300 ( or 600) miles, that would probably make the base of this mountain as big as the USA.

Well, it would stretch the bounds of "Earth-like" if it did, I think!

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest.
