Short Answer: Go to a doctor and get tested conclusively. Whether you are pregnant or not, the positive pregnancy test results need to be addressed. Long Answer: It is possible for the body to secrete the compound to which pregnancy test kits react even if you are not pregnant... but only in cases where there are other health issues which you should be exploring with your physician.
If you are still taking birth control pills and you ARE pregnant, it is possible that the continued doses of estrogen are causing your body to have short periods of bleeding between monthly doses - but it should be very light. In that case, pregnancy tests will still be accurate because they are not testing for any chemical contained in the pills. However, continued exposure of the fetus to estrogen contained in the pills does raise the possibility of long-term health issues, primarily centered around a higher incidence of cancer during adolescence and adulthood.
For that reason, it is important that you go to a physician to obtain a blood test confirmation or exclusion of pregnancy. If you are pregnant, discontinue taking birth control pills.
I am not sure what causes it, but it is possible to get your period, or what appears to be your period and be pregnant. The birth control was most likely not completely in affect yet.
I believe it takes at least a month for your body to adjust to it. I would go to the doctor for a blood test, that will give you a definitive answer.
Some women do experience spotting during pregnancy, but having period is odd ,but I think it's best to go doctor why keep this on your mind. Once you find out you can go from there.
If you got your period, usually you may not be pregnant. Since you got mixed results, I will say get a blood test done to make sure.
There's nothing I can find to suggest the pill would influence the result of a pregnancy test in any way. A pregnancy test only detects the pregnancy hormone in your body. It's impossible to menstrate while you are pregnant but some women do experience bleeding that can be mistaken for their period, especially if they have fallen pregnant while on the pill.
This is only the result of prior knowledge and a few quick searches on the net so if you have had any positive results it is recommended you consult a doctor.
