The second Robert Adams Michael De la Rue fight in NYC Felt Forum in Summer of 1983. It was the beginning of the 10th round the fighters touched gloves and Adams nailed De La Rue with a left hook knocking him unconscious and into a coma. De La Rue survived but of course never fought again.
It was a tragedy and it was just 2 club fighters giving a wonderful show and fight. There are probably many fight fans who never even heard of these 2. De La Rue was from Kewl Gardens and was an up and comer who was pushed along.
He was a member of the Tommy Gallagher regime.
If by "start of the fight" you mean prior to the first bell then I have no idea.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
