Cost-Benefit analysis says that the Keystone extension to Texas port refineries is more risk than benefit for us. Ask yourself why the Canadians don't refine their tar sand oil and ship it overseas from their own country. There are many reasons including the amount of air-borne and solid pollutants the highly contaminated tar sands oil contains.
Tar sands oil is very far from being Texas sweet crude. The Canadians also won't assume the risk of spills in areas that depend on tourism and fishing for their livelihoods. They don't want the environmental degradation or the costs.
Keystone doesn't do a thing in terms of helping with America's need for petroleum products. The Gulf coast refineries that it will be shipped to are working at capacity but they've cut production of gasoline for the domestic market (the US) and are producing diesel and shipping it to Central and South America. The US is the world's 3rd largest EXPORTER of petroleum products. If you never read anything else again in your life, read this article.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
