Sadly, it is not true that dogs have cleaner mouths than humans. I always believed this until my thoughts were crushed by the vet! There are several types of worms you can get by allowing your dog to lick your mouth (or kiss you).
These are: Roundworms- roundworm eggs can lie dormant for a very long time. If you or your child ingest these eggs, they can migrate to the liver, lungs, eyes and/or brain. Tapeworms-these worms can enter the human host and cause liver disease.
Ringworm- though not a worm, this fungal infection can be passed from dog to human and human to dog. Hookworms – can make their way into the human body via the dog’s mouth but typically through the bottom of the foot (stepping where an infected dog has used the bathroom). You may be wondering how these can be passed from the mouth of your dog to you and the answer is because dogs eat poop.
It’s gross but generally a fact. Most dogs eat poop! Worms and their eggs can live in the poop, the dog eats poo and then gives you a big kiss!
Those worms can easily pass to you and they aren’t something you want.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
