1. Maybe it's the mother cat. 2. If it's a male it may want to kill the kitten.
3. It may be a female who wants to kill the kitten or has a motherly instinct and wants to take the kittnen. What on earth is a 4 week old kitten doing outside?!
It needs to be inside, kept warm, fed every 4 hours. NO cow's milk, Kitten Milk Replacement formula and don't try weaning it for another 3 weeks. Found strays need all the extra help they can get because very likely it is underweight and under nourished.
Take it to the vet as soon as possible. It needs to be dewormed, blood tested for FIV (positive for FIV means it can live a long happy life indoors ONLY so it doesn't make other cats sick and a stress free life because stress triggers the illness) and FeLV (positive for FeLV means you put it down because that's fatal and it should not suffer.
Its probably her kitten! Did you find the kitten outside? If so it is probably the stray cats kitten you took.
What you need to do is go to the place you found the kitten and see if their are more kittens around as the stray is likely the mother. In that case you need to look after them and take them to the vet. If you are not willing to look after the cat or kittens then surrender them to the vet.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
