Is Kobe Bryant the most OVERRATED player in NBA HISTORY?

Let me start by saying this: I can't stand Kobe Bryant. With that said, to me, he is the best closer of the last 10 or so years. Sure he's had his moments of failure, but he's also got 5 rings.

That's hard to argue with. Some may say the first three were because of Shaquille O'Neal, and that may be true, but he has more than proved he can win it the last 2 years by himself. I guarantee you the Lakers wouldn't have three-peated without Kobe on those early 2000s teams.

As far as him not being able to win it without his teammates, name one player that has won championships while playing on a terrible team. As for Artest, Odom and Gasol, they aren't that good as individuals, they're just lucky to play for a great coach, a great organization and with a great leader like Bryant. As far as individual acheivments, he's been robbed of the MVP award before.

Only one MVP doesn't really fit a player with that sort of magnitude. His scoring? He's averaged 29.45 per game the last previous six seasons.

At least 5 games of 60 or more including the 81 point game against the lowly Raptors. Most people can't even score 81 on NBA Live or 2K. He's still got quite a bit of gas left and he's already number 6 on the scoring list.

He's nipping at Shaq's heels and before you know it, he'll be passing the former all-time leading scorer Wilt Chamberlain. Bottom line, if the money's on the table in the closing seconds of a game, I'm choosing Kobe over pretty much anyone in the NBA right now and the previous 5 or 6 years. It took me until he was 32 years old to figure that out about him but it's the truth.

You said he wouldn't have those 5 rings without Shaq, Gasol & Artest but what about Fisher & Odom two of the best teamplayers ever. Kobe is always going to remembered and when he retires and the whole NBA will be different without kobe. That's a fact even kobe haters must see that.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
