In insist on keeping this alive. Whenever there is a death, birthday, Christmas etc. I send an actual card in the mail, and I write a letter on the inside of the card-I use cards that are either blank inside or just have one or two words salutation for lots of space. Then I write a special message about me or the recipent(s).
It's more personal. Even if birthday cards or Christmas cards are sent as e-cards instead, sympathy cards should always be actual cards.
Just last week I wrote a letter to my dad as a part of his Father's Day Card.
I may only be 18, but I write letters all the time. I wrote several to my relatives last month thanking them for graduation gifts and what not. My friends and I also enjoy writing letters.
I think because my dad's always worked for the postal service I've just grown up writing letters. There's nothing like the thrill of seeing your name hand written on an envelope in the mail. = It's a small joy I hope never goes away.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
