Is mahalo planning to do questions by sms (texting from a cellphone) just saw a commercial of a company who does, but they charge 99c/answer?

Mahalo already does questions by email, you can e-mail your questions in as well as ask questions via twitter and @answers. If your cellphone|Cellular provider has a Text-E-Mail Gateway then you should be able to setup a contact and text your questions in. Please see this en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_carriers_p... of providers providing email transit over text to see if your cellular provider is listed.

Another way would be to use twitters shortcode 40404 to text your questions to @answers. Whatever way is up to you! I hope that helps.
