According to a quick search Michael Moore's net worth is only 50 million. Well under the threshhold to be considered uber rich.

That 50 Million sounds awfully low. He has made several movies and I'm sure at least one of them brought in more than 500M. If he is so worried about income inequality then why doesn't he give most of his money to poor people?

Let's see: if his movie brought in $500M, and he has a net worth of $50M; that would mean that he only kept 10% of what the movie brought in. I'm not sure how you define "most of it" but that seems to me like most of his money went to someone else.

Rock, you are a free market capitalist, or at least you seem to espouse free market ideas. Why would it bother you that Moore might have made money as well? Is it because he leans to the left, and the left is traditionally less well off?

I would disagree with him. They aren't inherently evil. How the choose to use their money is the better mark of character.

Bill Gates is a pretty decent fellow because of his work in disease eradication. George Soros is a fine man in that he has helped promote economic development all over the world. Warren Buffet is a good example of a smart investor who helps build this country.

He's not poor; he's a very sucessful filmmaker, but he's not a wall Street billionaire. Apparently he doesn't invest in money in Wall Street because Wall Street is totally unethical. He's supportive and willing to pay a bigger portion of his taxes to save the economy.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest.
