Is Microsoft Outlook 2007 worth the upgrade from Outlook 2002?

I use email quite a bit, maybe 20-25 emails a day, often I need to refer back to an email and sometimes I find it difficult with 2002's sorting tools. Try this. Save your money, unless you really want Outlook 2007 and download, from Microsoft, Windows Desktop Search: microsoft.com/windows/desktopsearch/defa... Unless you have Vista installed - then its default.

Not in my opinion, no If anything, I think it's a step backward. By default, it wants to group emails by day, which I find cumbersome. For my money, Mozilla Thunderbird is still the best email client - and I process hundreds of emails a day, it's a snap to use, easily customizable folder system, etc.The search function works great, allowing you to specify exactly which part(s) of an email you want to search for.

And it's free, which is pretty hard to beat. Sources: personal experience .

1 Mine is a standalone, not Exchange Server application. I am finding real difficulty with Outlook 2002 because I am bumping up against the size limitations of about 2 Gb, and having to delete stuff constantly. Does Outlook 2007 have a larger capacity?

That would be a real gift for me! Also - does Outlook 2002 have the capability to save (or archive) emails to a place outside Outlook? I cannot see how to do this.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest.
