It depends upon which exact models of Core 2 Quad and Core i3. The faster Core 2 Quads (Q9550 and higher) are on par with Core i5 processors, but slow ones like the Q6600 and Q8200 are not. In general, a newer core i3 (Sandy Bridge or Ivy Bridge) has better single-threaded performance than most Core 2 Quads, so the i3 would be better for everyday tasks and gaming (most games only utilize 2 cores, very few titles are coded to utilize more).
However in games which do utilize more than 2 cores, a Core 2 Quad would perform better. And in heavily threaded applications like video editing or rendering software, the quad-core would perform better. http://www.anandtech.com/bench/Product/5...
Based on the benchmarks that I have seen, a Core i3-3220/3225 is pretty much neck-to-neck performance-wise with a top of the line Core 2 Quad Q9650. The lower model Core 2 Quads are slower, with the Q6600 being only about 70% as fast as the i3 that I mentioned.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
