Is Obama too dumb to realize that Gun Control Laws only disarm Licensed Gun Owners & do nothing to disarm...?

It the point was to reduce gun violence, the government would readdress mental illness. They would add it to the background check. There is no need to state why someone is rejected from buying a gun.

All they have to do is have a simple yes or no and give the person a number to call to correct possible errors. Normal people do not go around killing other people. Maybe gun owners should be required to have burglar alarms to stop theft.

Criminals still have to buy ammunition. Maybe there should be a background check to buy ammunition. Some well known people in high positions of government have suggested that major banks stop serving gun manufacturers and they are suggesting that investors stop investing in them.

In retalliation for this, gun manufacturers are refusing to fill orders for weapons for law enforcement and government. A fair reaction imo.

Universal back ground checks will make it more difficult for criminals to buy one . It is up to gun owners to prevent them from being stolen. I would like to see anyone who bought a gun that was used in a crime included on the list of people who can not pass a background check .

That should motivate people not to leave guns in the trunk of their car and stop the people who buy guns in order to sell them illegally to criminals who can´t.

Every sector of society has used guns to kill others.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
