I can't think of any verse which says that a muslim will dwell in hell forever. But there are numerous hadiths on this topic. According to one hadith, any Muslim with even an atom amount of faith in Allah and his messengers will go to heaven but after paying for their sins.

If you ask for forgiveness from Allah even right now, this very moment then Allah will forgive you and you won't even enter hell, If you really regret your past sins and your repentan Qur'an 39:53 - "O My servants who have transgressed against themselves by sinning, do not despair of the mercy of Allah . Indeed, Allah forgives all sins. Indeed, it is He who is the Forgiving, the Merciful."

As long as you're alive. Its never too late to ask for forgiveness.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest.
