Is permanent hair dye really "permanent"? What do they mean, exactly?

Permanent hair colors will not wash out, so it is best to be quite sure that the color is the right one for you before proceeding. What permanent hair color will do to some degree, is fade and you will also get a regrowth line where your new hair is growing through. Obviously the more difference there is between your natural color and the permanent color you have used, will decide how noticeable the regrowth line will be.

If you plan on coloring your hair for the first time, it is a good idea to choose a semi-permanent color that will wash out after several shampoos. If you like the result and want to keep the color, you can then choose a permanent color, bearing in mind that you will need to retouch the roots about once a month.

Roots show because they are new growth that wasn't colored at the time the "permanent dye" was applied. Permanent dye will fade over time with exposure to the sun, however, it's doesn't wash out like semi-permanent and temporary dyes do.

I wish permanent dye was indeed permanent. However, eventually the hair will start to grow out and roots will start to show. In my case because I have short hair this happens rather frequently, and therefore I am once again facing Grey hair on my head as oppose to the color that I prefer to have.

I think this is why products such as root touch up kits were created, because even permanent hair color doesn't last forever.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
