Is Portland, Oregon really one of the nicest places to live in the US?

Portland, Oregon is arguably one of the nicest places to live in the United States. The city is a pedestrian-friendly town, that is mostly true, but as in any big city there are exceptions to the rule. It is relevant to say that there are some definitely less than attractive spots, but every neighborhood has their own highlights. In the downtown area there are many nice condos in well maintained neighborhoods.

Going West of Portland there are nice spots, but the traffic is quite bad especially during the rush hours. There are pockets of renovated neighborhoods too and, as expected, there are some crime issues affecting other neighborhoods. A drive around will show how the different places look but again, there are thousands of drivers in the area although one can see many bicyclists on the road too.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
