Probably When my sister was pregnant with her last child they tried putting her on her husbands insurance and there was a clause excluding covering pregnancy for 9 months from the date she was put on the insurance. They were a little surprised and caught without insurance for this baby. Calling around didn't help either, the exclusion was pretty much the same for all the companies they tried.
