Well said. Facebook can never replace Twitter (at the present state), and Twitter can never replace Facebook. Facebook is good for staying in touch with close friends and family members, by adding them to your list.
You can then organize them into groups. It has a lot of apps and games, in case you are interested in them. Also, many websites have Facebook Connect integrated, including Mahalo itself, where you can sign up and login to your account in just a click (if you are already logged into Facebook).
A very convenient feature. However, Facebook is not up to par if you are looking forward your friend's updates. It is polluted with all the quiz results and other junks that doesn't make any sense.
Twitter on the other hand is simple and serves what it promised, to deliver updates from the Tweeples you followed, and that's all. No stupid quiz results and things like that. You can follow anyone and instantly have their updates pushed to your account, unless they made their updates private.
This makes more sense than Facebook as there is no need to get any confirmation from the other side, just click the "Follow" button and you are done. On Facebook, people doesn't like to befriend with strangers. You can't get status updates from someone on Facebook unless he confirms your request to be his friend first.
All in all, Facebook is good to keep in touch with your close friends and family. Twitter is to keep yourself updated with a person, a celebrity or even companies, totally hassle free, especially with all the Twitter clients for both desktop and mobile phones built. These are the only 2 social networking website I am active in, more on Twitter and less on FB though, as I really hated those quiz results junk.
Many people say that Facebook is for friends, and Twitter is for the world. Facebook is better to interact with close friends, while Twitter's a place to interact with strangers who share similar interests as you.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
