Current conditions around the state are extremely dry compared to last year. On May 1, 2006, the Sierra snowpack was 180 percent of normal. On May 1 this year, the snowpack was at 27 percent of normal.
The last rainy season was one of the driest on record, and now the Sierra snowpack is at its lowest level in 20 years. One dry year does not constitute a drought, however, and water agencies expect they will have enough water to meet demand this year by withdrawing some water from storage. But another dry year in the state would put us into a drought situation.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
