No, without being unkind, I think she is not qualified to be the president. I have real problems with her quitting as governor of Alaska. The people elected her, she owed those supporters her time for the rest of her term.
We can't have a quitter for president.
Palin makes those three look like Charlemagne. To you Palin-supporters: Charlemagne was a famous king of the Franks in the 8th Century that conquered Italy and most of modern Germany.
As a Republican... No, I don't think so. I think she has led Alaska well until she turned her governor's position in for a trip to fame. It seems that many of these people want Hollywood's approval.
And it seems like society puts a lot of stock in what Holleywood does for a politician's career. I don't know about you, but I don't care about Hollywood's take on our society. I want someone in there who is willing to go to the mats for our country. So sick of special interests too.
Tired of the side shows.
Goodness no. And if she were to be Commander-In-Chief, God help us. We'd really be doomed.
Sarah Palin isn't qualified to be a vice president, let alone President. I really hope that you are not a Sarah Palin supporter, because she is extremely stupid, and well, using the transitive property, what does that make you? "I can see Russia from my house."
And uhm, what experience? Governor of one of the most insignificant state's of the Union? Oh yeah, plenty of experience there.
And don't even tell me she wrote a book, you know who also "wrote a book"? Snooki. Yeah.
I'd actually pool Sarah Palin and Snooki in the same category, because they are both unintelligent attention *****'s.
It had to happen: the novelty of Sarah Palin is about to wear off. The Alaska governor and want-to-be vice president is not qualified by experience or ability, and will quickly demonstrate this fact in the upcoming debate with Joseph Biden. Palin's ambition will not be enough.
Now she takes her first steps onto the "bridge to obscurity/oblivion," which journey she richly merits. JIM TOWERYLake WalesThe Sept. 17 edition of NBC's Nightly News contained a most interesting segment pertaining to the veracity of various statements made by Gov.
NBC used a team of investigative reporters to determine the truth of these statements. The results are listed as follows:Statement: I oversaw the production of 15 percent to 20 percent of the energy used in the United States. Fact: The correct figure is 3.5 percent.
Statement: (Later) I intended to say 20 percent of the crude oil used in the U.S.Fact: The correct figure is less than 10 percent. Statement: The typical candidate for vice president had no experience dealing with foreign governments. Fact: Every vice president since World War II had such experience prior to election.
Statement: I visited the Alaskan National Guard in Iraq. Palin went only to Kuwait and to a border crossing with Iraq. Statement: I have been a visitor to Ireland.
Fact: Her visit consisted of being a passenger on an airplane that stopped in Ireland for refueling. Statement: I opposed the "bridge to nowhere" and returned the money to Congress. Fact: Palin supported the bridge and, after the public outcry, dropped her support in return for an equal amount of money to be given to Alaska to spend as it liked.
This money was not returned to Washington. (An aside: The bridge was an earmark by Sen. Ted Stevens, who is under indictment for bribery, and who threatened to resign his Senate seat if he did not get the bridge.)Regarding a comment about commanding the Alaska National Guard, making Palin qualified to be commander in chief of the U.S. armed forces, a good sized city in the U.S. has more police officers than the Alaska National Guard has soldiers.
Plus, the governor of a state has no authority over the military missions of the National Guard.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
