Is severe diarrhea a side effect of Straterra?

Just wanted to let you know that my son has been on straterra for about 6weeks now and in the last 3 days has developed severe diarrhea with abdominal pain and cramps Answer My 8 year old son has been on Straterra for about 4 months. He had no side effects initially, but over the last two months he's had stomach pains, become pasty white and weak (gets better when he eats), and most recently has had diarrhea for 6 out of the last 10days.

Today, I became very nauseated and in the evening, had bad diarrhea and some vomiting Answer my son is 9 and he has been on straterra now for about 9 months he also complains of severe abdominal pain. I believe that this is an unfortunate side effect for most that are taking this medication. I think it is wise for those who are on this med to schedule a liver panel with the new findings on this medication.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest.
