Yes Steve Young is a direct descendant of Brigham Young and his brother Joseph Young Brigham Young had 55 wives (although not at one time, as he was preceeded in death by 19 of them and divorced from ten) and 57 children, 46 of whom reached adulthood. All 57 children came from 16 of his wives Joseph Young had six wives and ten children.
