Having read the novel all the way up to the 7th volume (which is past were the anime is going to go to I would say) I think its safe to say that while SAO does have alot of girls who are interested in Kirito (including but not limited to his own sister), but it dosent really have that harem 'lets compete over this guy' dynamics because all of the girls in the story know their place and understand that Asuna is 'the main girl', so theres a lot of internal monologs about how much they like Kirito (in the novel at least, anyways) but they don't really ever act on it. Same goes for Kirito really. He goes around being attractive to women and helping them out and such, but he never tries to directly romance any of them save for Asuna.
And don't worry, there'll be a lot of 'action' featuring Asuna and Kirito later *wink wink* (that is, if it hasn't happened already. I haven't been keeping up with the anime).
Season two will have more action no harem but no almost no asuna either.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
