Yes its takes very clear pics..there are many good features in it that helps you in getting more clear and desired pics.

If you learn how to operate the Canon HS100 it will take very clear photos.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest.
