They are still talking about the devastation from the tornadoes in South. It is one of the many news events being aired in the news right now. The death of Osama is big news for Americans.

..don't get me wrong - it is great news; it's just hogging all the tv and internet coverage and other important stories are not getting aired as much...

I live in the UK and we are still hearing news of the tornados and the deaths and destruction caused by them, but OBL's death is a major story, obviously it will take top spot for a while. Everything else becomes secondary for the moment.
