That question is for people of any religion or none. Nearly all people "of religion" (whether Buddhist, Hindu, Christian, etc) who are in the modern world know that the stories in any religion which propose fairly recent origins of the Universe (10,000 years or fewer) do not chime with the story teased out from evidence considered by scientists over the last 1,000 years or so. Most scientists cannot see any other origin apart form the "singularity" of the Big Bang, but a few think in different directions.

One day we may see evidence of other existences prior to the Big Bang.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
