Personally, Subs are waay better than dubs! Dubs just sound a bit wrong and out of tune! Most of the time, the timing is off!
But anime like inuyasha is an example of a good dub...
It's okay, but it took place before anime had it's rebirth, so if you don't want to listen to tons of mispronunciations, I'd go with the sub.
I think that it is okay, its not brilliant but it definatly isn't one of the really bad dubs out there.
There are few dubbed animes that aren't hurt by the dubbing. One exception is "Inuyasha. " The Canadian troupe that dubbed that one captured the characters very well.
Usually, though, the dubbing is done by American voice actors who seem to think that presenting over-the-top versions of the characters is somehow necessary. "Fruits Baskets" subbed is, as usual, better than the dubbed. Mind, there are some exceptions, but not many.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
