I've tried to search online about this "Knob Face" virus and as you have mentioned, this is a scam. There is no virus caled "Knob Face". The closest malware is called Koobface and if it is referring to this malware, there must be some spelling mistake. It is possible for malware authors to disguise their attack as sex videos like the llary Clinton and Barack Obama scandal.
And these are just widespread warnings and not malware attacks. So there is a widespread warning in Facebook about a virus called "Knob Face" and together with this are two inaccurate information about how you can identify the attack. It would be much wiser to keep your ant-virus software up-to-date and to be careful about what programs you run and the links that you click. And it would be best if you don't share virus warnings with your online friends until you have confirmed and checked with a credible source.
It is easy to kill malware but misinformation can live for months especially if people are sharing the warning with friends. It is also advisable to join the Sophos page on Facebook to be updated of the latest security threats.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
