Is the Statue of Liberty under repair in New York City, New York?

The Statue of Liberty main repairs are done and there are tours that go up into the crown again. Because of the wear and tear on the object and the number of people interested in touring the island, the trips to the top have become limited. You have to make reservations significantly in advance.

Only a certain amount of people will be allowed to go into the statue. The tours out to Liberty Island are also limited and should be booked in advance. Not all tours that go out to island include a trip inside the monument.

The tour of the island can also be satisfying as you can walk right up to Lady Liberty and take photos all around the area. The tour guides can give a complete and full history of the area.
