Is there a battery reserve on a Blackjack II?

I used to work for T-mobile and Cingular/At&T and sold and warranty out a lot of different phones and especially batteries for the devices. The best way to make sure you are getting the full life of your battery is STEP 1: Charge the battery till it is full and stops charging I know most people charge till they think it is done charging and start using the phone right away but with a full charge can take up to 8 hours on some phone to get the best life out of a battery STEP 2: After the batter is charged please talk and use the phone till it powers off. DON’T I REPEAT DON’T if at all possible try to do the 15 and 20 min charges and be on the go.

That will shorten the life of you battery very fast. STEP 3: Charge again till the phone is battery shows full or 8 hours which ever comes first. Be sure to repeat the steps at least for the first two power cycles of the battery to ensure you are getting in the 90% range of your batteries out and life.

The biggest thing that people do is buy rapid charges from gas stations or outlet that aren’t made by the manufacturer. With the cheaper parts that come with the cheaper price of the accessories comes with trouble. Most if not all the new car /travel chargers come with a automatic shut off’s so you can leave the phone on the charger and it will not burn out your battery life over heat your phone (till the point that it burns) .. On the Black Jack the life of the battery was always something that employee’s and customers that bought the device always complained about and even with the extended life battery still wouldn’t last as long with normal use as some of the other devices with a lot of use. I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest.
