Is there a big difference between an Intel Core 2 Duo processor and an Intel Core i7 or i5?

Depending of what you will use on your laptop you may not need the upgrade. If its a school purpose then I think that 2.1GHz is enough. The intel i3/i5 is more geared towards gaming and multitasking.

So if you have five or six windows opened up at once, you can upgrade to and i3 for a smoother experience. If you think that your laptop is slightly sluggish right now then you can upgrade. Usually the specifications are as follows: 0-1GHZ - Nothing, very old things maybe?

1GHz - 1.99GHz = Web browsing, word, things like that. 2GHz - 2.99GHz = Office things, such as opening a few spreadsheets or 3d graphic rendering. Also light gaming.

3GHz - 3.99 GHz = Most gamers will have their computers or laptops at this speed. Used to calculate physics quickly and process heavy rendering. 4GHz+ = Hardcore gamers should have this.

If the rest of their system matches up, this is over-the-board in a lot of cases. Summary: Depending if you're using your laptop for web browsing and typing up homework, you don't need the upgrade. If you are planning on playing games like Minecraft in while working then you should upgrade.

2.16GHz isn't much faster then 2.1GHz Think of it as someone's IQ. 3 or 4 IQ difference isn't a lot. But 10 or 11 makes a big difference, In other words 0.6GHz doesn't make a big change, but 1GHz could make your over powerful.

An intel i3 might be more efficient in terms of power consumption, but you will probably not notice a difference in performance. If all you are doing is web browsing and office, then you should be fine with a core 2 duo. If you really feel like your computer is acting sluggish, then it might be because you have to much stuff on it.

So, you could either clean out your hard drive of the stuff you don't need, or your could get some more RAM instead, but probably not a whole new computer.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
