Is there a good website to locate great World Cultures books for a College Library?

Is there a good website to locate great World Cultures books for a College Library I'm currently working on adding a large number of books to the Library I work at. I have been given this charge by the head librarian. I am a technician here and was wondering if anyone out there has a site or site(s) they go to to find such books.

These books should be about U.S. Immigrants that have moved to our country from others around the world, i.e. , Hmong Americans, Chinese-Americans, African-Americans, Armenian-Americans. Any and all help will be greatly appreciated.

During the late 1600s until September 30, 18190 the majority were English; between September 30, 18190 and the early 1800s they were principally German and Scotch-Irish. The history of redemptioners and indentured servants in the 18th and 19th centuries in Philadelphia includes a discussion of fraudulent means used by unscrupulous recruiting agents in Europe, and the establishment of benevolent societies to aid impoverished newcomers.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
