Is there a law in NYS/NYC against parking in front of someone's gate (not driveway) on streets that have no sidewalk?

2 I live in New York and I am pretty sure that as long as your driveway is not blocked people can still legally park in front of your gate. Maybe you should check into how to get a legal sign installed by the state or local community that says no parking in front of active gate. See if that can be done if you can prove your dilemma.

3 If there is a cut curb platted (but not necessarily installed) to the street and it is a public street ,a ticket can be issued even if there is no sidewalk , you would need to consult a street blueprint to be sure.

There may be local ordinances that stop people from doing this. I would contact the local authorities and talk with them. File a complaint and see what happens.

I think you have a very valid point. Go about it legally first. If that does not work park your car there so they get the message.

But the EMS issue can work if you use it through the legal means.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
