Same concept just down the drain. In the past I have put baking soda down the drain then dumped in vinegar. It fizzes like crazy and has always worked for me. If this keeps happening, I might suggest that you contact the maintenance department of your complex and see if they can snake the line to see what’s causing the clogs.

Maybe it’s too much hair or built up soap scum, etc.And your pipes just need to be cleaned really well. You might check out this website. It might be of help to you care2.com/greenliving/clearing-clogged-d... .

Vinegar and baking soda I asked this question a couple of weeks ago about my kitchen drain, and most of the respondents said to throw a cup of baking soda followed by a cup of vinegar down the drain, wait until it stops foaming up and follow with boiling water. No one told me you have to stir the baking soda as you pour the vinegar (I used a chopstick), but once I figured that out, it worked great. You also might want to consider using some kind of strainer on the drain if you aren't already.

Baking soda and white vinegar Half a cup of each. Put the baking soda in first, then the vinegar. It will foam and churn and should clean the drain.

I used to put about a quarter of a gallon of bleach down my drains every few weeks and it helped keep them cleared out. Generic bleach is about a buck a gallon, so not that expensive. My mother used to make very hot, very strong salt water and put down the drain every week.

She said it cleaned out the grease (which is what causes clogs). Seemed to work. My neighbor always ran really hot water in the sink at least once a day, to clear out the grease.

He said he never had a clogged drain. Not sure this would work in a bathtub tho.

I use baking soda and white vinegar First dump a couple of tablespoons of baking soda down the drain. Follow it with about 1/2 cup of vinegar. It will fizz and bubble then go down.

I usually keep this up several times until I get some movement. Also -- pouring a kettle of boiling water down the drain can sometimes do the trick. If all else fails, do this after you've done the soda/vinegar thing.

Good luck! NJ .

Yes... it's called a plumber's snake... Basically, it's a hand-cranked device that you use to push down into a clogged drain and pull back. Once the stuff is loosened up inside, it should be flushed away in the system. Be careful, though, because if the drain pipes are weakened by the use of lots of chems, forceful snaking can bust through a pipe.

You can also use the good old fashioned plunger to break stuff loose.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
