The last time that they tried to get Feederal Jobs up to the level or private sectror jobs was about ten or more years ago and they said then it woulr take a 22% increase in Federal Pay to make things equal. But that is difficult to see in many smaller towns where local salaries are so much lower. The classis case was to be a Post Master in a small Texas city.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest.
