Is there a PS2 guitar controller that works with ALL four of the Guitar Hero games?

I have the Kramer Striker that came in the Guitar Hero III bundle, but I need another guitar. Is there another guitar that is compatible with Guitar Hero I, II, III, and the 80's? My thoughts are that a PS2 controller should work on all of the PS2 games, but I have been told otherwise.

Yes, look for an original Guitar Hero I or II controller According to GameSpot, the original wired Gibson controllers from the Guitar Hero and Guitar Hero II bundles works with all of the GH games plus Rock Band. They also verified that the Wireless Kramer Striker (Guitar Hero III) for the PS2 works with all of the games. The guitar from Rock Band only works with Rock Band, alas.
