My wife experienced the same thing last year when she was pregnant (our baby is 3 months old now! ) and we consulted our doctor - she told us that one Tylenol PM a night is fine. It won't hurt the baby and will make her drowzy and keep mom comfortable.
Congrats and just be there for her man. She's gonna need you a lot in a few months!
According to Jodi Mindell, pediatric sleep expert, "Currently, the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) hasn't deemed any sleeping medications completely safe for pregnant women. Several medications, including Benadryl (found in many over-the-counter sleep aids) and Ambien, are classified as Class B medications, which means they're presumed safe for pregnant women based on animal studies, but no well-controlled human studies are available. Other sleeping pills, including Sonata, Lunesta, and Rozerem, are considered Class C medications.
These are drugs whose safety is uncertain; animal studies with them have shown some question of risk to the fetus. " Either way, its always a good idea to have your wife check with her obstetrician to see what he/she recommends. :-).
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
