Is there a walkie talkie app that will work for iPhone and android phone?

IPhone has iMessage with the latest iOS. As long as whoever you're texting has iMessage switched on then you only get charged whatever data it uses. There are other apps which again the person you are texting must have activated for it to work.

It's not technically free because you are getting charged for the Internet usage but it is a lot cheaper.

These two applications are: 1. Whatsapp ( 2. Viber (over and above messaging, you can also do a voice call for free) However, please note that you require a GPRS data plan WiFi for these to work.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest.
