Allegations of doping and mishandling of testing by anti-doping agencies are damaging the image of pro cycling. It seems that Team Slipstream is taking a very proactive stance with its requirement for riders to submit to frequent testing. Is this the only way? Asked by Wanderingkale 58 months ago Similar questions: pro cycling recover recent doping controversies Sports & Recreation > Cycling.

After Anna Nicole and Britney in the news, I think most people have forgotten about all the doping scandals of late. There are bigger fish to fry :)Personally, I think the uproar should be against the useless anti-doping agencies. Also, look at what happened in boxing to Tommy from Rocky - they said he had AIDS when he didn't and he lost a huge chunk of his career to a ban.
All testing appears to be too easily screwed up... there needs to be a focus on that, not on the sport itself. Sources: My opinion .
1 it's going to hang around for a long time, esp. After last year. Even if no one's caught, there will always be the thought that it's going on, but hasn't been detected.
I don't think Americans realize how much money is involved in European racing - it's like baseball and steroids here.

2 There have been tremendous strides in the proper direction lately. The current Tour de France is a great example where suddenly previous bicycle stars are suddenly being dropped. A clean peloton is a fun peloton to watch.
The sport is finally headed in the right direction after the heart break of seemingly watching one of the finest performances in sport history - Landis' incredible stage win in the Tour and ultimate victory. It is true that there is some ineptness, sometimes, on the part of laboratories, etc. , but I think that is a minor problem compared to the previous, almost universal doping by the top cycling stars.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
