Short of masking your IP address, disabling cookies, and turning off Javascript, I don't think you can hide your page views from HubPages stats.
As for Google Analytics, here is a copy-and-paste from a post I made in the forums.
1 Click on the Google Analytics link from your HubPages account.
2 Click on "Filter Manager" in the lower right of the screen that comes up.
3 Click on "+ Add Filter" in the right side of the next screen.
5 Click on "traffic from the domains" and change it to "traffic from the IP addresses.
6 Enter your IP address (whatismyip.com/).
7 Select your HubPages profile and click on "Add.
The easier way, in my opinion, is to download the opt-out plugin from Google: tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout . This accomplishes the same thing without having to go through the above.
I just go to the Google earnings. The view are less but I can see that my pages are getting viewed and the information is very updated.
I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
