Is there a way to convince Outlook to open links in emails in Firefox, rather than Internet Explorer?

Change your default browser.. You need to tell your computer that your default browser is FireFox by doing the following: Start > Control Panel > Internet Options > Programs Tab (at the top) Then you see 3 quarters down, Default web browser.. Tell it firefox...Also if you open firefox and close it, somewehre along there it will prompt you to make it your default browser. Also, In Firefox if you go to Tools> Options You will see at the bottom, you can click Check Now which wil make firefox check if its the default browser. Once you do this, whenever you click on links in outlook firefox will open.

Mine does open Outlook links in Firefox so it is possible. Try this: Start > Set Program Access and Defaults > Custom and under Choose a default web browser, select Mozilla Firefox the OK Let me know if it doesn't work.

Should be based on your "Set Program Access and Defaults" for your entire computer system. Normally Outlook or any other program opening your browser will be doing it based on whatever program you have setup as the default browser for the computer system (in your case Firefox). To get to the "Set Program Access and Defaults" you can sometimes find it right on the start menu on the right-hand side near the control panel link (assuming Windows XP).

Otherwise it'll be available through the Control Panel --> Add/Remove Programs. Look on the left-hand side of the dialog box (it'll usually be the bottom one). From there look at the settings under "Custom" -- you may need to click the down-arrow button to have it expand.

The first option should be setting the default browser. Select "Firefox". That should be it!

Hope that helps! .

Yes by changing the default browser You can change your default browser to Firefox from Internet Explorer, so that it'll open links in Firefox when you click on them. In Windows XP, you can change it as follows Start menu Set Program Access and Defaults This change the default browser of the whole system. If you want only Outlook to use Firefox but other programs still use Internet Explorer, I don't think there is a way to do it..

The option is in Firefox (also in 'Set program access and defaults in Windows') Open Firefox and go into tools -> options -> general tab -> system defaults section and set it to be your default browser (or set it to check for default browser and the next time you start Firefox, tell it to make FF your default). Or you can set it in Windows. Open a run command (windows key + r or Start -> Run) and type control.

Exe appwiz. Cpl and click on the Set Program Access and Defaults on the bottom left. You can choose a default browser in there.

You can also find this page by going to Add/Remove programs or looking under Start -> All Programs .

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
