Is there a way to simply contact Yahoo? I'm always directed to unhelpful FAQs and frankly, these are issues that the "community" can't fix.?

Well ....on behalf of the serious good users here ----I hate to tell you this......but you're about 6 years too late for the "serious answers" phase of this site. Back in the day, serious questions, use to get serious , well educated answers from professionals in their fields. Then trolls started treating the site like their personal playground........and that's all she wrote.

The point system only encouraged point gamers, and every "improvement" that's ever come down the pike, was instantly corrupted and used AGAINST the site........by people wishing to cause havoc , for laughs. As if the constant format changes weren't enough to chase off the last of the good , solid users....... the fact that suspended trolls just come right back with 5 NEW sock puppets, instead of actually being banned...........all but ensured that the site would just devolve into a devil's playground. Alas.....there *are* a few of us still here, , who have weathered the Attacks and account suspensions by trolls.......and we try, in vain to hold the fort, and still give intelligent answers.

But we are the vast MINORITY, by far, these days.........as the site has mainly become a troll playground. If asked..........I still give real, helpful, insightful answers to problems and the inner workings of the site....... but most are just here to play and point game and operate all their sock accounts. Such is the way it is.

You should have been here in 2006 or even 2007........when serious questions could still get hundreds, if not 1,000's of actual good answers. Now, you're lucky if you get 10 joke answers to anything .....or just a bunch of point gamer answers , who give one word answers, like "Yes" or "No" to everything. ----even when it's not a "Yes or No" type question.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
