Is there a way to split Skype audio into two streams for recording higher quality podcasts?

You will, more then likely, require an audio mixer to achieve this functionality. Basically.. Your mic to the mixer to the computer. The computer to the mixer.

The mixer to your recording device/computer. You can naturally buy a hardware solution which will be quite expensive. There are also multiple software applications that will allow you to achieve this.

A few resources: labnol.blogspot.com/2006/06/how-to-recor... ambrosiasw.com/utilities/wiretap.

This can be done with your existing setup, a hardware mixer is not necessary. Audio hijack allows you to record just the incoming skype audio (in settings you can set it so it is NOT recording megamix, which is all feeds). Record your own audio with garageband and later import the recorded hijack feed to garageband and you are now setup to edit each stream separately (once you have time synched them).

If you have multiple guests, this gets to be a lot trickier and is best if they record their own feeds separately (such as if you have a cohost). That will give you much higher quality anyway.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
