Is there an existing version of a geothermal heat pump that actuallly concentrates and stores solar heat?

In addition to photography, I have a very personal interest in horticulture and I am seeking to upgrade my existing greenhouse structure so that it can be a sustainable earth friendly structure. The 20' x 48' greenhouse is attached to a 20' x 14' cellar which is almost entirely underground. It is my theory that it should be possible to collect solar energy and store it underground until it is needed in the winter but I am unaware of any existing systems or feasibility studies about storing heat energy.

It would seem to me that this system if it could be made to work could have far reaching applications. Thanks for your assistance. More.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
