Is there an over-the-range microwave that you can mount over a gas cooktop and vent it sufficiently?

The dude at Best Buy says that an over-the-range microwave just doesn't provide adequate ventilation for a gas cooktop. But if we put that big ol' hood in there instead, we have that much less room in an already tight kitchen. We've also heard that an attic fan will do the job, and you don't even need a hood, just a hole in the ceiling of the kitchen.

Any decent microwave that is "Over the Range". Will work fine. Most come with a venting ability, but if you don't have.

The access to vent, you can buy a kit to vent in a loop. Do not use a "Over the counter" nor a "counter top" model on a bracket or a shelf because the wires inside are not insulated and will cause a problem.
