I'm done with Epson and their time-limited printer cartridges, clogged print heads and hatrid for customers. Are all printer manufacturers as loathsome as Epson? Get an HP-the yield is amazing for the price if you get the CMYK format-yes it is 4 cartridges, BUT you can use them to the last drop, not run out of one color and the have to throw the whole thing away. And if you are careful with the kind of paper you select and make the 'draft' setting as the default, you will save a lot. Shop around for the lowest prices, and free shipping, and look for the XL cartridges to get even more ink and save even more money.
Also drop the old cartridges in at Staples for recycle and get $3 back for each, up to 10 a month. Have a great day.
There are a few companies that have good printers with reasonable ink prices. Canon and Kodak both have printer product lines with far more reasonable ink prices. Kodak, I cannot personally recommend, as the kodak printer I have has never worked right since day one. It's a Kodak Easyshare 5100.
Horrible printer, but the ink is cheap. Canon has their PIXMA line, that has ink that's far cheaper than epson/HP, and still has very good print quality and features on the printer. I can easily recommend their printers for anyone.

I own a all in one printer from HP! You have to remember, who ever you buy a printer from, they are not making much money on that printer. They are selling it you in most cases below retail value.
They make up that when you start to buy ink for it. I think that the price of ink for my printer is reasonable. Yes there are companies that you can buy ink from that sell it a lot cheaper than the manufacture, but you are only asking for trouble.
A while back consumers digest ran a study on the cheaper ink, they found out that it clogs up the printer, doesn't have the same amount of ink in it, and runs out faster, in the long run you are not saving anything. They also had a study on the level indicator that tells you how much ink is left in your printer. They found out that the empty light that comes up when there is less than 25% left in the ink well.
This is to give you time to get a new cartridge for your printer before you run out. My printer now is running empty on the black cartridge, and will continue to do so till it no longer prints properly, I will then change the cartridge, that gives me maximum use of the cartridge. I bought a new cartridge and have it ready for use.
I am glad I got a early warning for the ink, that way I am ready when it go's completely empty. HP is the number one manufacture of Ink Jet Printers. Some one suggested that you buy a Laser printer.
They are more expensive, for the printer and the ink. Most only come in Black and White, color you pay a premium price for. If you are going to buy a new printer, then I suggest you go on line at, Dell, HP, Gateway, and other MFG.
See what type of printer you want, then the price of that printer, then check and see what the price of the ink is for the one you selected. When you find a printer that has a good price for the ink, and it matches what you want in a printer, I would then buy that printer. Printers are updated and changed every 3 months.
The one on the internet are the latest printers and have not yet went out of date. What the store are selling could be a out dated printer or a brand new one. Retail store don't like you to compare the ink cost to the printer, but it is easy to do on line, just get the model number of the printer, then go to inks and put in the model number, you will then get the price.
I also know with HP they also sell a premium Ink that has like 75% more ink in it, for a small extra charge and is usually a better value than buying the regular size ink. Hope this helps you! .
2 No, pretty much. You buy ink to refill your own or get online refurbished ones. It's been awhile for me so this isn't set in stone.

3 Pretty much. That's where the profit is, the ink. They almost give away their low end printers just to get the traffic in ink.
Put there are lots of cartridge refill companies out there, so find one of those you like, and find out what cartridges they refill, then buy the printer that uses those. Save a ton. Oh, and don't be put off by the printer company's claims about using refill ink, it's part of the scam.

" "I'm trying to rip a music cd but my computer always hangs in the last track. What is happening?" "Which uses less ink on an all-in-one printer - print multiple copies from the computer, or print one and make copies?
How can I rip a dvd to my computer and watch it on tv.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
