The estimated incidence of seizures is approximately 0.1% at dosages up to 300 mg/day and 0.4% at dosages between 300 to 450 mg/day, but increases almost tenfold between 450 mg and 600 mg/day. The risk may also be increased during coadministration with selective serotonin reuptake inhibitors (SSRI antidepressants or anorectics), monoamine oxidase inhibitors, neuroleptic agents, central nervous system stimulants, opioids, tricyclic antidepressants, other tricyclic compounds (e.g. , cyclobenzaprine, phenothiazines), systemic steroids, and/or any substance that can reduce the seizure threshold (e.g. , carbapenems, cholinergic agents, fluoroquinolones, interferons, chloroquine, mefloquine, lindane, theophylline). These agents are often individually epileptogenic and may have additive effects when combined.

MANAGEMENT: Extreme caution is advised if bupropion is administered with any substance that can reduce the seizure threshold, particularly in the elderly and in patients with a history of seizures or other risk factors for seizures (e.g. , head trauma; brain tumor; severe hepatic cirrhosis; metabolic disorders; CNS infections; excessive use of alcohol or sedatives; addiction to opiates, cocaine, or stimulants; diabetes treated with oral hypoglycemic agents or insulin). Bupropion as well as concomitant medications should be initiated at the lower end of the dose range and titrated gradually if feasible. The total dose of bupropion should generally not exceed 450 mg/day (or 150 mg every other day in patients with severe hepatic cirrhosis).

I think they are very similar medications. I would think it would NOT be a good idea to take them together. All medication changes need to be discussed with your doctor.

I find that depression in me is caused by low oxgyen in the brain and drugs don't raise oxygen. I take zinc, Vit D3, Vit A, coenzyme Q10, fish oil, rhodiola, phosphaditdyl serine/DMAE,biotin, lecithin, krill oil and more vitamins. I was low histamine(copper destroys histamine) and I was given drugs for high histamine people (high in zinc), so the drugs hurt me.

I hate drugs and love vitamins. The celiac diet stops the depression. Celiac people get their intestines destroyed by dairy and gluten grains.

They can't eat these things. The intestines then doesn't absorb nutrients, so the cells aren't made right. Celiac makes the thyroid go down and then that lowers oxygen use in the mitochondria and then hormones are off and depression starts.

Not sure about the Effexor but.. My hubby's doc had him on Zoloft and Wellburtrin...he added the Wellburtrin to help him sleep, but he said to take in the morning...the down fall is at that time he drove for a living and it would knock him out at a stop sign...make sure you know how your body reacts to your meds first before driving. As for taking two meds at one time it should be fine...I always check with our Pharm and his thoughts...Why they know their meds! .

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
